In 2002, Baumit opened a new production facility for façade plasters and colors in Wopfing, Europe’s most modern fine plaster plant.
Since the commissioning of this plant 20 years ago, the automationX® system has been the central solution for the control and process visualization of the plant. Furthermore, the core topics of Batch and Production Management including the interface to the ERP system are implemented in our system.
In order to be future-proof in terms of functionality and system compatibility in the long term, the entire DCS and production management platform is to be renewed.
The AutomationX team was able to convince Baumit with its many years of process know-how and with the modern technological platform automationX® 5 and was therefore commissioned with the implementation of this project.
